Your whole body feels tight, like you’ve crushed every inch of you. Your heart races and you feel out of breath, like someone’s sucked the air right out of your lungs. Your hands and feet feel cold, and you can’t quite figure out why. You want to run, but you cannot – this is not the time to run. Now is the time to stand and do what must be done. Knowing this does not make doing it any easier. Worst of all, your thoughts are racing as if they’re in a race. How to stop this? How to release all the tension that’s building up? Let me know if you figure it out, because I certainly haven’t.
